Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has revealed in a new twist how people opposed to The Deputy President William Ruto are planning next if the war against corruption fails.
According to Oscar Sudi , DP Ruto’s enemies are hatching plans to assassinate him if the war against graft fails.
According to the Star Newspaper, Oscar Sudi revealed this shocking details through a phone interview with the Star Correspondent.
“They have been scheming all manner of things and we know even plans to kill him cannot be ruled out,” Oscar Sudi stated.
Asked if he was aware of the seriousness of such claims, Sudi said Ruto’s adversaries were determined to stop him from taking over the presidency in 2022.
The lawmaker dismissed the DPP Noordin Haji’s publicised breakdown of graft list by ethnic groups. He said the figures were fake and made up by DCI George Kinoti to hoodwink the public that Kikuyus top the list of those charged with corruption. He said it was “manufactured by DCI George Kinoti to confuse Kenyans seeking the truth”.
The assassination claims raise a lot of eyebrows as it raises alarm on the state of national security.
Assassination of a sitting Deputy President is first of all am act of treason which according to the law it qualifies one to a sentence not less than a lifetime imprisonment.
But even those claims by Oscar Sudi are too much sensititve that the office of Director Of Criminal Investigation may be knocking on Oscar Sudi’s home anytime soon. Oscar Sudi might be required to offer evidence to his allegations. Failure to which may amount to a serious penalty.
