The idea behind punishing children for their parent’s inability to pay school fees is yet to be understood. It is safe and professional to contact the parents in case of school fees issues. Sending a child home is unprofessional and it denies the child their right to be in school
A video of a little girl reacting after she was sent away from her school for her parent’s inability to pay her fees, has since gone viral on the internet.
She revealed that she preferred to be flogged than sent home as this is the norm in Nigerian and more often, children are not just sent away from school but flogged as well.
This little girl, however, was having non of it and vowed to ‘tackle’ her school after she was sent away for having school fees arrears

Her frustration appeared to be borne from the fact that she was sent away, despite plans to make payments. Walking away, she vowed to show the school ‘real stubbornness’. She vowed ” they go flog me until the cane will tire”
The video which has since gone viral attracted many reactions as social media users offered to help pay the disgruntled little girl’s school fees.
