The Kenyan Police have time and again come under great criticism for providing breading grounds for crime instead of working round the clock to fight it.
On Thursday saw an innocent soul make it’s way to the Morgue courtesy of a bullet from armed goons.
Samuel Ragira aka OCS Ragira was killed by armed goons who were terrorizing traders at Klabu Market next to Nairobi Primary School. He had confronted the goons to stop their exploitation only to end up paying for it with his dear life.
According to multiple sources, the goons were asking for payments of between 10,000 – 20,000 in exchange for stalls in the market. This is what Ragira was fighting but did not live long to see the fruits of his fight as he was killed by the bullet.
Police would later pick his body, bundle it in their car and take it to City Mortuary.
At the Morgue, Police recorded that he died from a mob attack.
According to Nairobi News, Ragira’s body was ferried to the mortuary by a Kileleshwa Police Station official car. The body arrived at the morgue at 7:25 PM.
The police officers recorded the cause of death as “mob injustice.”
Despite the Police trying to hide the truth from the public, a video that has gone viral has shown a group of people counting the number of bullet holes in Ragira’s body, a clear indication that he died from a gun shot and not a mob justice as purported by the Police.
