The residents Navakholo in Kakamega County woke up to some shocking news after reports emerged that an Administration police officer had shot and killed his wife after a domestic quarrel.
Reports further indicate that the officer ran away as soon as he killed his wife who was a teacher at Navakholo secondary school.
To confirm the incident the Kakamega County CID John Onyango,”We don’t know how many bullets the officer may have discharged but police officers are at the scene.”
The incident brought uproar as the residents protested over the killing and blocked police from collecting the body demanding that the police produce the killer before being allowed to pick the body.
It remains unclear what the couple fought over.
The body of the deceased was later moved to the Kakamega County Referral Hospital mortuary.
The incident comes weeks after another domestic fight resulting to murder was reported after husband killed her clinical officer wife in Kahawa Sukari estate in Nairobi.
