Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa had stood her ground after she claimed that she will not apologise to ODM Leader Raila Odinga over her misconduct as claimed by the party members.
Ms Jumwa’s remarks came after Raila Odinga urged her that she should ask for forgiveness over her misconduct.
While speaking as he consoled the Toi Market fire victims Raila said, “Kila mtoto akiomba msahamaha anasamehewa. Juzi kwa chama yetu Dori alilia situlimsamehea. Ata Aisha tulisema akikuja tuketi chini naalie tutaangalia maneno yake. Sisi kama wanachungwa tuko pamoja.”
To her response Jumwa said,“I have heard Raila Odinga saying that if I appear before the party they will forgive me… I want to tell him that what I told them before the National Executive Council that remains my position. Let them go back to the records.”
Her remarks elicited a section of online Kenyans who had mixed reactions regarding the same.
