Miguna celebrates as Kikuyu ranked most corrupt community

Self Proclaimed leader of National Resistance movement Miguna Miguna reacted after the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji mentioned that the most corrupt community is not KLalenjin as speculated but Kikuyu which happens to be Uhuru Kenyatta’s community.

While taking to his twitter account he wrote saying, “Apparently, @UKenyatta‘s hand-picked @ODPP_KE Noordin Haji has stated that 141 Kikuyu clerks and messengers have been “charged with corruption-related offences.” No names. And not a single Kikuyu CS, principal secretary or parastatal head, yet some are cheering him on. “

While speaking in a TV interview DPP Haji disclosed that out of 415 people his office has taken to court on graft charges, 141 are Kikuyus.

Miguna poked holes in Haji’s list observing there was no senior government official from the populous community who had been charged.

In addition he said, “Kenya is made up of 50 million people and 45 ethnic communities. But it is a fact that one ethnic group comprise more than 70 per cent of cabinet secretaries, principal secretaries, CEOs and other senior government officials who have presided over the runaway graft.”

He said Kenyans will only take the DPP seriously if high profile individuals are jailed and stolen money recovered.
