Embattled Miguna Miguna has now picked a fight with the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji after he challenged him to prove that he is a performer.
As the DPP marks a year since he was appointed into office, Miguna feels he is yet to do much for this nation.
The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader said that Haji should ensure that Sh.15 trillion stashed in foreign accounts is returned with immediate effect.
” Apparently, @UKenyatta’s hand-picked @ODPP_KE Noordin Haji has stated that 141 Kikuyu clerks and messengers have been “charged with corruption-related offences.” No names. And not a single Kikuyu CS, principal secretary or parastatal head, yet some are cheering him on. “
He noted that the DPP has not handled and won any serious scandal involving the loss of huge amounts of money since he took over office following his appointment by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
DPP Haji responded immediately by saying, “The names and offences are available. The Court records are open to the public. “
“Let @ODPP_KE Noordin Haji charge and SUCCESSFULLY prosecute those who stole and stashed Shs. 15 Trillion shillings of our money abroad. Let him obey all court orders and convict those who perpetrated the Goldenberg, Anglo Leasing and other mega scams for us to take him seriously,” reads his tweet.
Miguna, who has been very vocal on matters of national interest, has rated the performance of the DPP below par.
He also asked Haji to obey orders issued by the court as far as prosecution of criminals is concerned if he wants to leave behind a legacy.
