KCB Bolstered Ahead Of Africa Women Championship in Cairo

The KCB ladies Volleyball team has bolstered its squad ahead of this week’s Africa Women Club Championship campaign that kicks off at the Al Ahly club in Egypt.

The Bankers will be aiming to run a good campaign envisaging to emulate the 2006 success that saw them win the much coveted trophy.

The next few days will be tough for most of the teams both on and off the court and we will for sure witness pair of tough sets of play that will scuttle hopes of many.

KCB will be looking to dazzle at the tournament and prove their mettle at the continental stage.

KCB Head Coach Japheth Munala says the team has perfected its craft and they are now  set for the continental contest.

“We have perfected our playing and training system and we are confident of posting positive results at the championship,” said Munala.

The squad that is captained by experienced national attacker Noel Murambi will be showing signs of quest for glory under Coach Japheth Munala when they come up against sides that have been in imperious forms.

“The players are fired up for the championship, we have worked hard for this moment and we will stick together and give our best “, said Captain Murambi.

As the battle kicks off, KCB could confirm their status as worthy contenders for the final glory with emphatic wins. The imagination glows brightest for the majesty of the KCB ladies.

The last piece of the puzzle will be adding some pace and that’s what they’re really looking at the moment. The tournament runs from 14 –26th March 2019 in the Egyptian capital.
