How Always Company response has only worsened the situation

Following a series of accusations regarding the defectiveness of Always pads on women, the product whose parent company is Procter and Gamble responded, and this was not taken well.

Always, perceived not to be accountable for its products’ malfunctions, went on to post on social media that it has an ‘ultra soft’ Always brand that is less likely to cause harm.

The company who opened the Always Kenya Twitter handle just after accusations that Always pads cause rashes and burns among other adverse effects further disputed claims that they offer substandard products in Kenya as opposed to developed European countries.

This is despite customer tests of Always pads from Kenya and abroad that prove the contrary.

Always is further said to have hosted a focus group to address the issues raised.

A good initiative. However, they happened to have locked out some of the people who they considered as ‘competitors’.

Reactions on their posts and ‘corrective measures’ were so not embraced.
