Embakasi East MP Babu Owino became a butt of all jokes on the internet after he was barred from vetting his former Lecturer George Magoha.
Prof. Magoha was on Thursday vetted for the position of Education CS by the National Assembly Appointments Committee, which is chaired by speaker Justin Muturi.
Muturi had earlier on barred Babu from sitting in the vetting as a friend of the committee, but later allowed him in as long as he doesn’t ask questions.
Magoha was the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi, during a time when Babu served as President of the Students Council.
And it would have been weird for the student to interview his lecturer. Here is what Kenyans are saying:
