Kikuyu constituency Member of parliament has hit opposition leader Raila Odinga .
Speaking at NTV sidebar show,Ichugwa told Raila to cool his horses and Wait for Ruto to be president comes 2022.
Known for his critics and strong love towards Ruto,Ichugwa said that Raila is envious due to Ruto’s popularity across the country.
“Raila Odinga is fighting Ruto because of his popularity and he is trying to use the handshake to frustrate the DP,he should wait and see Ruto presidency 2022 as nothing is stoppable,”he said.
The MP further argued that the former prime minister has taken advantage of the corruption purge to fight the DP.
“We know Raila has developed cold feet and wants to frustrate the DP’s presidential ambition in 2022 because he knows he (Ruto) is the next president,” he said.
Ruto has been accused of stealing public fund in preparations for 2022 campaign.
Recently the DP wondered why the fight against corruption has been diverted to him alone.
“The fight against corruption shouldn’t be personalities,i have been severally been attacked yet nothing wrong i have committed,”Ruto wondered.
