Radio Presenter Annitah Raey blasted for saying she cannot cost share with a man

Some women believe in the popular phrase ‘A man’s money is the family’s money and a woman’s money is her money’

Do you agree with this statement?

A Female Radio Personality Annitah Raey has been on the receiving end for expressing her firm support in the earlier stated phrase.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but someone a section of Kenyans differ with her reasoning.

Defending her remarks, Annitah Raey says that men are providers and that is why their money should be used in paying bills, school fees and provide for the family needs.

Quite a number of ladies might agree with this and of course when it comes to their money, they would be so reluctant to cost share when it comes to family provision.

Some of the people who weighed in over her remarks is blogger Abraham Mutai who stated that he never weighs in on such matters but on this one he had to speak .

‘Annitah Raey is a foolish woman. If you see such frustrated women on TV switch it off and never allow your daughter near the TV. Frustrated toxic feminists preaching equality but can’t share responsibilities. Shenzi! ‘ he said in his post.

Other Kenyans who sided with Mutai jumped in to give their comments.

WTF is this shit? I advocate for gender equality, keyword being EQUALITY. Whatever this depraved woman is saying borders on oppression. She is preaching radical feminism, and double-standards, undoing decades-long struggle for gender parity. Her views have no place in this age— Lynn (@lynn_lysh) March 12, 2019

In every succesful family, you will never find a woman sharing this kind of thought. It takes team effort to raise a family. Such sentiments are self centered and any woman who shares this school of thought does not fit in a marriage.— Frisky (@gichira_eddy) March 12, 2019
