Ed Sheeran is said to have paid a touching tribute to his new wife Cherry Seaborn.
The singer, who secretly tied the knot to his childhood sweetheart just before Christmas, has reportedly named a pub after her.
Ed is believed to have renamed the boozer in the grounds of his Suffolk estate in honour of his missus.
According to The Sun , neighbours can see the 15ft sign, which reads The Lancaster Lock, hanging above the door of the pub.
His new wife’s full name is Cherry Lancaster Seaborn.
One neighbour told the newspaper: “The pub looks incredible, it’s right in the middle of his estate. It’s every bloke’s dream and he’s obviously decided to get the missus on board by naming it after her.
“The sign is massive, which came as a bit of a surprise, but everyone locally is pleased to have Ed here and he’s always been a perfect neighbour.”
However, that comes after reports that some of his neighbors are fuming about his so-called wildlife pond, as they believe it’s actually a swimming pool.
The 28-year-old Shape Of You singer sought planning permission to build the pond to “support nature conservation…providing a natural habitat for breeding and wetland invertebrates such as dragonflies and water beetles, as well as providing a source of drinking water to birds and mammals.”
The council added in 2016 that the pond would not be used for “recreational leisure such as swimming.”
