Kilifi County Governor Amason Kingi yesterday assented to the Kilifi County Finance Bill, 2018-2019.
The bill seeks to provide for the various taxes, fees and other charges that are payable to the County Government of Kilifi.
The bill also highlights the rates currently payable to the County Government of Kilifi so as to enhance revenue payable to the County Government for better service delivery.
This will also enable the County Government to perform its functions as bestowed on it by the fourth schedule of the Kenyan Constitution.
In terms of development, the county government has been keen to prioritize the needs of the people.
There are currently projects that are being implemented from the health sector to the education sector.
