Tanzanian woman narrates how she narrowly escaped the Ethiopian Airlines flight crash

It was a narrow escape for Antu Mandoza a Tanzanian lady who says that she almost took the Ethiopian Airlines plane, Boeing 737 MAX 8 which crashed on Sunday morning.

Antu Mandoza says that she changed her route to Addis and she had just landed when she saw the news and received many calls from the few people who knew she was travelling with the Ethiopian Airline.

She was shook when she got the reports of the plane crash and she believes that God saved her for a reason.

She also expressed grief and sent her condolences to the families who lost their loved ones following the unfortunate incident.

“I’m so down. These deaths news are so devastating. God helps us all. “ she said in her post.

Antu Mandoza believes that indeed life is a gift and  no one really knows when their time will come.

The aircraft, a Boeing 737 MAX 8, took off at 08:38am (05:38 GMT) and lost contact with air traffic controllers six minutes later.

According to the statement by Ethiopian Airlines, the plane crashed near Bishoftu, southeast of the Ethiopian capital, killing all 149 passengers and eight crew members on board.
