Mombasa County under Governor Joho’s administration has strengthen public health awareness in efforts to boost the health sector and service delivery.
The Sub County Administration in coordination with the department of Health Services & partners has been engaging wananchi at the Ward level to ensure there is adequate Public Health Awareness in Mombasa County.

Earlier today, Ward Administrators from Mji wa Kale/Old Town-Hilal Mahmoud & Junda- Mohamed Mwanyoha joined dispensary nurses, Community Health Volunteers, village elders & opinion leaders from their respective villages to discuss health threats & their precautionary measures & treatment.
According to the sub county admin, those in attendance had an opportunity to undergo some essential tests and received proper advice on family planning, hypertension, tuberculosis, HIV, early pregnancies among other health issues affecting wananchi.
Healthcare being a key aspect and also among the Uhuru’s Big 4 Agenda, the county government of Mombasa is keen to work closely with the national government to ensure that the people have access to proper healthcare services.
