Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has come out to give out Ksh 100,000 for anyone who will give information of a woman who threw a baby away.
The baby had a rope on the neck but luckily the baby was rescued by a good Samaritan and rushed to Mukuru kwa Reuben Maternity Hospital where the rope on the neck was removed, and medication done.
However, its condition was not very good, he has been transferred to Mama Lucy Hospital where doctors are trying to save his life.
Sonko added that the matter has been reported to Mukuru Kwa Reuben police post.
He has asked members of the public to help the police catch the curlprit and he will give Ksh 100,000 award.
” I wish instead of doing this to an innocent angel the mother had come reached out to well-wishers for help in raising him. Let’s pray for the baby to survive and lives to achieve the purpose for which God created him,” Sonko concluded.
