Ex Kiambu governor William Kabogo has come out to defend Deputy President William Ruto from the ongoing backlash on corruption.
His defence came following a statement by the Siaya Governor James Orengo who declared to have DP Ruto record a statement following his implication into the ongoing war against graft.
While taking to his twitter account Kabogo wrote in response to Senator Orengo saying, “Jimi! How will you make him record a statement? And why, corruption is wide spread Ruto is not corruption and corruption is not Ruto. We need a revolution Now!! “

He further added saying, ” If a minister steals why do we say it’s Ruto. Let Ruto carry his cross for what he himself has stolen but nit what kalenjin ministers or others have stolen. And if those who steal do it for him then they’re foolish “

Orengo was speaking during a rally in Ugenya Constituency on Saturday, Orengo vowed to force Ruto to report to DCI what he knows about the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal if Uhuru goes slow on the matter.
