As President Kenyatta continues to fight against graft continues more leaders have asked the president to dump Deputy President William Ruto considering that his name has been mentioned in the ongoing corruption scandals.
According to Jubilee Youth Leader Brian Mamboleo ,asked the president to take the DP following his altitude towards the fight against graft.
“The president and Raila Odinga mean well for this nation. Fight against corruption must be won. It’s very disappointing that he (Ruto) can contradict his boss. Even worse, he’s discrediting DCI. He should be tamed.”
To echo his sentiments Rigoma MCA Benson Sironga, said the fight against corruption does not target a community. He accused Ruto of deliberately undermining the efforts of the president.
“I now see the reason to abandon his boat. It doesn’t make logic that when some people are accused of graft, he peddles the narrative of being targeted. This is undermining his boss. Time has come to move on,” he noted.
