Even before the handshake, the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his close allies had plans to send President Uhuru Kenyatta packing. But did it happen.

The former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has revived this debate of axing the President.

The famous bullfighter is urging that the President should be sent home for failing to fight corruption in the country.

He insisted that corruption has been an ingrained as part of the Jubilee government since 2013, and wondered where the renewed vigour to fight the vice has come from.

Boni Khalwale who is a close ally to the Deputy President William Ruto has noted that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration has overseen the loss of billions from different sectors.

Boni Khalwale uttered these words in a funeral in Shibale Kakamega, where he was accompanied by former sports CS Rashid Echesa.

Echesa on his side blamed the handshake for his sudden fall.
He claimed that he was fired because he is not from the “political dynasties”, a reference to President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
