It appears that Solari’s days are all but numbered at Real Madrid with multiple sources indicating that Zidane’s comeback to El Real is imminent with major media outlets, including Jose Luis Sanchez, Madrid’s tier 1 source and, basically, the club’s mouth-piece, revealing that Los Blancos’ legend is set to return to Los Blancos.
Jorge Valdano, the ex-Madrid legend and manager, backs Zizou for managerial job at Madrid, as the Frenchman will unite the squad, while Mourinho will do the opposite:
“Zidane represents the unanimity of Real Madrid, Mourinho represents the division,” he explained in an interview with Onda Cero.
“I don’t think anyone would be unhappy with Zidane returning, whereas Mourinho has both pros and cons.”
“There will be people on his side and people against him, Real Madrid need to assess their squad with a number of young players needing careful treatment.”
