Flight Tracking Service Flightradar Release Updates on ill-Fated Ethiopian Plane

Flight Tracking Service Flightradar24 has released the following statement following an Ethiopian Airline Plane Crash feared to have taken the lives of 157 people who were all on board.

“We are following reports that Ethiopian Airlines flight #ET302 to Nairobi has crashed after take off from Addis Ababa.

Our coverage in the area is limited. We tracked the flight for about 3 minutes after take off.

Flight #ET302 was performed by a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with registration ET-AVJ and serial number 62450. First flight was in October 2018.

We are downloading granular ADS-B data from our receiver network for flight #ET302 and hope to be able to present more flight data in the next hours.”
