Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is one of the few lawmakers whose full of surprises, 001 has yet again excited netizens after a video of him controlling traffic in Mombasa went viral.
The undated clip shows the governor, who was dressed in a reflector jacket, a white cap, blue pair of jeans and white shoes, flagging down vehicles along a busy street.
Joho is seen chatting with some of the motorists before allowing them to proceed.
While some dismissed the move as a ‘cheap publicity stunt’ and asked him to fix the traffic jam mess that has become synonymous with the coastal city, others hailed the second-term governor for his humility.
People who were around them didn’t seem to mind as they cheered on.
