Two Police officers captured on CCTV footage stealing narcotics worth millions of shillings have been arrested by Serious Crime Detectives.
The Director of Criminal Investigations report that the two, Cpl. Alloys Onyango & Constable Arbanus Mutunga stole over 25 kilograms of Heroin which had been confiscated from drug traffickers.
The Police officers used Peter Okoth Odongo, a drug trafficker, to lure two other drug traffickers & owners of the narcotics; Alfric Odhiambo Otieno & Kenneth Sinzore to an ambush and thereafter took the drugs & dumped the suspects.
The DCI has reiterated that no one will be spared in the war against crime.
Kenyans have lauded the DCI for the incredible job that the nation has been yearning for since independence.
They also expressed their concern saying that this resilience should also be taken up by the state institutions so as to redeem the rot that is existent in the country.
