The exiled Kenyan freedom fighter Miguna Miguna has sent a shocking letter to United Kingdom Minister for State Security Ben Wallace, after his meeting with Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i.
In his letter, Miguna accused CS Matiang’i of being a criminal who had been convicted twice by different High Court Judges in Kenya for violation of the constitution, among other crimes.
“I have just seen your latest Tweet with an image of you and Fred Matiang’i, the Kenyan Minister for Interior. I wish to inform you that Dr. Matiang’i has been convicted twice by two separate High Court of Kenya Judges for violations of the constitution, abuse of public office, torture, illegal detention, illegal removal from Kenya of a citizen and wanton destruction of public property,” read part of Miguna Miguna’s letter.
He further called on the British Minister to stop any dealings with criminals like Matiang’i who are not any different from the terrorists they claim to be fighting.
“Kenyans like muse; who have been subjected to egregious human rights violations such as illegal detention, torture and forceful exile would appreciate if elected representatives of the British people like you stopped dealing with criminals and showed respect for the rule of law and democratic values not just in the UK but also in Kenya and other parts of the world,” wrote Miguna Miguna.
