Today wasn’t a day a day to Celebrate for a Turkana man as women jointly beat him for blocking wife attend celebrate Women’s Day on Friday.
The angry women who were in the middle of their celebrations, descended on the hapless man with kicks and blows as some served him hot slaps.
The heavy liquor had taken toll on the poor man who appeared too weak to defend himself against a bevy of 30 women as captured in a video by Nation. The hapless man instead lay helpless on the dusty ground and perhaps his only hope was not to sustain any bodily injuries.
“He called his wife aside, I don’t know what he wanted. We told him today is not the day to fight the wife. That is why we wrestled him down to show him today we are celebrating women in the world,” said one activist.
