Why R.Kelly’s kidnapped girls strongly stood by him

Girlfriends who were allegedly kidnapped by embattle R&B singer R Kelly
have stand by the singer in the wake of his first interview since ‘Surviving R. Kelly.’

During an interview, the ladies identified as Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage said they have no such aspirations.

They also explained to King that they’re both in a relationship with Kelly, a relationship Savage characterized as being “very strong.”

The follow-up interview comes a day after the ‘Ignition’ singer’s explosive interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning. Following the release of the shocking ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ documentary and the barrage of accusations that followed, his two live-in girlfriends have come out to defend the accused sexual predator.

According to an article by Complex, the Savage said, “Both our parents are basically out here trying to get money and scam, because they didn’t agree on what happened, you know, with music or whatever it could be.” Savage, who appeared alongside Azriel Clary in the interview, told King that their parents are just very upset. Both women’s parents have denied this.

On Wednesday, Kelly alleged that in Savage’s case, specifically, the parents had come to him with hopes that he could boost their daughter’s singing career.

This comes just one day after Joycelyn Savage’s family held a press conference in response to R. Kelly’s comments made on the CBS This Morning. Gayle King also interviewed Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage, where their combative conversation rounds on the internet.
