Why Mt Kenya MPs no longer camp at DP Ruto’s office like They did in 2013-2017

Between 2013 – 2017, Deputy President William Ruto took responsibility and firm charge of Government functions, he ensured Ministers or Cabinet Secretaries as they are now called, worked.

This is why was saw a well co-ordinated government and various delivered milestones during the first term.

This meant that a lot of the Mt. Kenya fat cats who had hoped to mint billions from an Uhuru Presidency (mundu wa nyumba fwana!) were unable to access the deals they had hoped to access and a political vendetta against the now Dr. William Ruto was created.

Knowing that President Uhuru would NEVER have made it for a second term without support from the URP Faction led by Dr. Ruto, the Mt. Kenyans retained a silence ready to reveal their anger and hatred after the elections, which included a handcheque agenda that would see the No.1 propagandist on their side, to make sure that Kenyans are kept busy with one drama after another as they (Mt. Kenyans) cut as many deals as possible especially to make up for the lost first 5 years.

So it is extremely obvious today, that with Dr. Ruto sidelined, the government has zero leadership.

As we all suspect, Johnny Walker is doing the walking and Ministers are doing whatever they want with whomever and it is like the Country is at a standstill.

Nothing is working mpaka JKIA actually ground to a halt…. #smh

While there has been an effort to try and replicate Dr. Ruto’s firm leadership skills through the appointment of CS Matiang’i as some kind of Super-Minister, clearly it has not worked, after all who has felt or seen any difference in anything since his ad-hoc elevation to his jack of all trades role?

Reality is here. By sidelining Ruto, Kenyans have seen, who really was the hand behind the sobriety of the 1st Term.
