Although the police made it clear that they have not established the identity of the individuals in the case raised by the lady, the asked her to report to the nearest traffic officer or police station so that the matter can be investigated.

The National Police Service also noted that some of the officers have in the past been engaging in reckless behavior & have been harassing other Motorists in the name of allowing their VIPs quick passage.

They also termed it as unacceptable behavior which has not only caused anger and concern on the part of the motoring public but has also resulted to untold suffering and inconveniences.

All officers on VIP security duties have also been instructed to stop the irresponsible behavior and must follow the highway code and obey the traffic law just like other Motorists.
