Security Association wants violent Turkish National deported for assaulting Kenyan

The Protective and Safety Association of Kenya (PROSAK) has petitioned for the expeditious arrest and deportation of a Turkish national for assaulting and injuring a security guard.

Speaking to Daily Active Kenya, PROSAK Chairman Enock Alumasi Makanga has petitioned inspector general of police Joseph Boinnet and office of the ODPP to act by arresting Bulent Gulbaharon who exhibited impunity by injuring a security guard at Gateway Park Mombasa road before forcefully gaining entry to the mall.

“Protective and Safety Association of Kenya condemns with the strongest terms the act that happened at Mombasa road. We would want the relevant authorities to take serious action against Bulent Gulbaharon and his driver,” Enock Makanga said.

Mr. Enock states that, the confrontation ensued when Walter Ouma (security guard) requested for normal security check up but the Turkish national declined and in the process Mr. Ouma was beaten up badly before his colleagues intervened.

Mr. Ouma lodged a complaint at Karen Police station and Mr. Bulent Gulbaharon was arrested and later released.

“I was busy doing my job at gateway park along Mombasa road when I requested Mr Bulent for checkup and he turned violent and in the process I was physically assaulted, I need my justice now,” Mr. Ouma said.

The Association states that this isn’t first time for their members to be assaulted by foreigners as in in 2018 October, a Russian national turned rogue disregarded an explanation from a female guard.
