Thai businessman Arnon Rodthong made headlines after he promised to give any man who would marry his daughter KSh 31 million

Rodthong was later forced to call off the contest due to overwhelming number of men who showed interest.

He, however, clarified he would still give any man who would marry his 26-year-old daughter the money.

Most rich people love to preserve their family’s wealth and legacy so as to have someone take care of them when they pass on. It was for this reason that a Thai millionaire, identified as Arnon Rodthong, took to social media and offered to pay KSh 31 million to any man willing to marry his virgin daughter.

The businessman made international headlines after openly revealing he desperately wanted his 26-year-old daughter to settle down with a worthy husband. The father disclosed his wish is to leave the family business to the daughter and that he would not want to burden her with all the work, which is why he was looking for a suitable husband for her.

Well, countless men jumped on the opportunity and sent in their applications all in a bid to win the businessman’s daughter and most importantly the money. The applications were too many they overwhelmed the millionaire who decided to call off the whole thing.

Rodthong was apparently forced to cancel his offer after thousands of his potential son-in-laws started bothering him with incessant phone calls and messages.

According to TODAY, the millionaire cancelled the offer through his Facebook page on March 5, 2019, during which he revealed he had received about 10,000 applications.

“Interested sons-in-law, please stop calling me. I am dying because my phone has been ringing off the hook. Let me rest,” he wrote.

The father, however, clarified he would still fulfill his promise of giving whoever marries his daughter the KSh 31 million as promised.
