In the directive, Senior Resident Magistrate M.W.Murage further barred the removal from office the current management committee of Ekeza Sacco. This was after a section of Ekeza Sacco members through their lawyer Danstan Omar filed a petition to stop the commissioner from interfering with the current management. Last year, the Government revoked the Sacco’s license following complaints that Ekeza was sharing office space and bank accounts with Gakuyo Real Estate Company. It recently emerged that televangelist “Dr” David Kariuki Ngare, alias Gakuyo, allegedly embezzled members’ funds.
