A witness in Kenneth Wathungi Karume revealed to the court that mr. Wathungi was in deed a drug addict and a drunkard.
Wathungi was charged for murdering his girlfriend Victoria Wairimu in 2016 having pushed her from the fourth floor of Gracia Apartment in Kiambu county resulting to her death.
According to Victor Ushindi Nyakio, the deceased’s younger brother, told justice Christine Meoli of Kiambu High Court that both the accused and his sister Wairimu were “drunken people” who smoked bhang.
The case will be heard on October 9.
