The Embattled Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa has decided to forget about her tribulations and join the women in celebrating this important day: International Women’s Day.
Aisha Jumwa who is currently facing the ODM wrath of expulsion has vowed not to be cowed by the decision. She has more than insisted that she will serve the people of Malindi despite her ouster which depicts that fresh elections are to be held.
As a voice to other women, this is what Aisha Jumwa has said:
“On this International Women’s Day, I take this opportunity to thank all women across the globe in all sectors working hard and also I appreciate their roles in promoting social dynamism and nurturing the family unit.
I have been in the fore front in forging positive visibility of women especially in my Constituency and i will continue supporting my fellow women to join the force and help play a key role in our society.”
