For a Couple of days now, leading media houses, newspapers and blogs have all been on Prophet David Owuor’s case.

This is clearly understandable given the fact that the Prophet is a household name not just in Kenya but also in different parts of the world.

Prophet Owuor has been the talk of town after grave allegations were labelled against him with claims that he used dubious means to gain control and occupancy of Property belonging to a woman named Jayne Muthoni.

Jayne Muthonin was once a great lawyer with high-end properties and a vast dimension of wealth. She now lives like a pauper and is no longer the vibrant lawyer she used to be after dropping her profession to be one of Prophet Owuor’s Bishops.

Her family has been on the neck on Prophet Owuor to return back her properties.

To make the process fast, her family filed an official complaint to the DCI and as per yesterday, there were claims that Prophet Owuor had been summoned by the DCI at Kabete Police Station.

It is however emerging that Owuor has not been summoned and that plans to summon him have also not in any way been hatched.

According to Detectives, Prophet Owuor is no ordinary man and as such cannot be summoned anyhowly.

“Prophet Owour is not like a mukorino from Kwangware we cannot just summon him anyhow,” said Francis Wanjau, Directorate of Criminal Investigations detective.

Meanwhile, two female housekeepers believed to have been working for Jayne Muthoni yesterday recorded statements at the Kabete Police Station.

According to Wanjau, they called in the housekeepers to record statements so as to find out on those allegations of Muthoni being brainwashed.

“The house girls would be able to know If Muthoni was taking some drugs since they have been living with her,” Wanjau said.
