“New month, more life, more blessings & more work. After being at @capitalfmkenya for 5 years hosting 1 show, 2019 started on a high. I am now a full time presenter now on Hits with my man dem @nxville_ke . Join us on @capitalfmkenya from 7pm to 10pm Monday through to Thursday” wrote Miss Mandi.

Last week, Capital FM’s Programmes Controller Michael Waithaka was forced to clear the air after reports went viral that the Hits Not Homework crew had been fired from the station.

Waithaka tossed aside the reports, stating that the radio station was going through a restructuring face, that saw the hits not homework crew re-assigned new roles.

He added that the hosts were only given one a year contract which ended at the beginning of the year and they will now be re-assigned to work according to their strengths.

The four; Anita Nderu, Tracy Wanjiru and DJ Jo Kisila, Anne Mwaura were hired to replace Amina Abdi Rabar who was moved to the breakfast show.

Before Amina took over Hits Not Homework, it used to be in the hands of Joey Muthengi who later left for Tusker Project Fame.

And prior to Joey, Eve D’Souza hosted the show before leaving it to focus on her production company called Moonbeam Productions which produces popular sitcom Auntie Boss.
