The Storm Is Not Over For R.Kelly He’s Now Charged For Infecting A Girl With Herpes

R Kelly is being investigated for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl who he is claimed to have later given herpes.

This is a fresh accusation from the one that he was charged with numerous accounts of sexual abuse. This happens after giving an explosive interview to CBS This Morning show, in which he yelled he was ‘fighting for my f****** life’ following being charged with numerous counts of sexual abuse, Kelly is now facing a fresh investigation.

Another victim is now claiming that she was assaulted by Kelly in 2001, when she was still a 13-year-old girl.

Police Chief James Craig issued a statement on Wednesday evening, indicating that they were following up with the alleged victim.

He said: “We are aware of the allegations made against R Kelly that possibly occurred in 2001. Approximately a month ago, we receive(d) information from Chicago Police Department of a victim, who lives out of state, who had made (an) allegation of a criminal sexual conduct incident against R. Kelly.

“The incident allegedly occurred in the City of Detroit when the victim was 13 years old.”

Craig continued: “Based on the information received we have made several attempts to follow up with the victim. We have reached out, at the direction of the victim, to her lawyer and we are eagerly waiting to speak to her concerning the allegations. Right now, we have not made contact with her.”

A source told CBS 2 that the woman claims she visited Kelly at his home for four years and that he gave her herpes when she was 17.

R Kelly has history with Detroit as this is where is alleged marriage to then 15-year-old singer Aaliyah took place, after they had met when she was only 12.

The police chief added: “The Detroit Police Department takes criminal sexual assaults very seriously as well as all acts of violence committed against our residents, and will investigate all cases equally and with vigor in efforts to bring justice to the victims and their families.”

Steve Greenberg, who is Kelly’s defense attorney, has declined to comment on the latest allegations.

Earlier on Wednesday, Kelly was arrested again and put behind bars for failure to pay more than £121,000 in owing child support.

After the hearing, his publicist Darryll Johnson told reporters that Kelly was prepared to hand over up to $60,000 of the money today(Thursday)
