Did you ever at any point in your life imagined that the Mighty Prophet of the Lord, Dr David Owuor will one day be a guest of the state for apparently breaking the law?
Well, Prophet Owuor is expected to visit Kabete Police Station to clarify on a number of issues ranging from his alleged takeover of properties worth millions belonging to once flamboyant City lawyer Jayne Muthoni.
Jayne Muthoni’s family came out this week to sensationally claim that Owuor had taken over their sister’s properties and was making a huge kill from them.
They have claimed that Owuor’s lavish lifestyle has been mainly facilitated through Jayne Muthoni’s wealth.
It is the above allegations that Owuor is expected to shed more light on.
He is accused of fraudulently obtaining properties owned by ex-lawyer Jayne Muthoni, 62.
Owuor is on the spot for allegedly minting over 800 Million Shillings from Mrs. Muthoni.
Muthoni who was once the late Prof. George Saitoti’s Lawyer is said to be now living in abject poverty despite owning vast properties and wealth all thanks to Owuor and his Repentance and Holiness Ministry.
She is one of the few multi-billionaires who abandoned their careers to support Owuor’s ministry.
DCI summoned the self-proclaimed prophet for questioning today at Kabete police station. DCI is investigating allegations by Muthoni’s family.
“We sent a letter to him through his lawyer and we asked him to choose the day he prefers between Thursday (today) and Friday (tomorrow),” one DCI officer at Kabete police station said.
