” Ruto is a good politician, he is a shrewd politician, he is articulate with issues.” These are the words of COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli.
Now Atwoli is one of the Deputy President’s biggest critics and therefore these words coming from means he respects the man he so much hates.
In a detailed interview with Jeff Koinange on Citizen TV, Atwoli revealed that the only reason the DP might not become president is because he lacks good advisers.
“He lacks good advisers. If you have supporters who can dare the head of state then you cannot make it; those are the people who will bring him down.” The experienced trade unionist said.
” The head of state is a symbol of national unity in any country and when you are serving that head of state then he becomes like a father to you; you cannot fight your father, you will be the loser.”

Atwoli was referring to the recent utterances from Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi who accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of corruption.
The President later responded by telling Sudi to take him to DCI if he has any evidence.
