PHOTOS: Boinnet visits hospitalized police officers injured in line of duty

Yesterday, Inspector General Joseph Boinnet visited Police Officers recuperating at the Nairobi West Hospital after sustaining injuries while in the line of duty.

The Inspector general revealed that four of the officers he visited were injured in an IED attack in Garissa, while on routine patrol.

Boinnet noted that the National Police Service cares for all its officers and they strive to ensure that officers injured while on duty receive the required medical attention.

This move by the Inspector General has shown a level of support and deserving care to the police officers.

The police officers play a major role in securing the nation and are heroes who deserve to be celebrated.

Kenyans trickled in on social media to give their messages of quick recovery wishes.
