Njambi Koikai shares touching tribute to cancer warrior Jadudi

Emmanuel Otieno, better known as Jadudi, passed on at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu on the night of March 4th 2019.

Jadudi became famous in 2015 after Biko Zulu highlighted his battle with a brain tumor leading to Kenyans donating Ksh 6.4 million in less than two days to facilitate his treatment in India.

Jadudi underwent several surgeries to remove the cancerous tumors in his head before doctors finally concluded that his situation was terminal.

He was paralyzed and lost his speech after the several surgeries in his head. The cancer warrior had been in a coma since February 2019 until Monday night when he passed on.

The deceased was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 at the age of 22 while he was student at the University of Nairobi. Jadudi was 27 at the time of his death.

Endometriosis warrior Njambi Koikai mourned Jadudi’s death in a post on social media. Njambi, whose battle with endometriosis resonates with Jadudi’s battle with cancer, shared a touching tribute to the deceased.

“Jadudi Wuod Ndege…may the good Lord rest your soul in peace. You have fought a brave fight. You have encouraged many of us battling chronic illness. You had a never-give-up spirit. This is heart breaking but bro, you have fought a brave fight. You encouraged me so much to keep fighting even when my strength was weary. I’m reminded more each day, that this life is about God and none of us. None of those things we focus all our energy on matter apart from God. May you rest in eternal perfect peace bro. You are a WINNER,” wrote Njambi Koikai.
