Indian Investment In Kenya to promote Big Four Agenda

Kenya has today signed and exchanged agreed minutes of the bilateral engagement with India.

This comes after a meeting between Ambassador Monica Juma and her Indian counterpart Hon. ⁦@SushmaSwaraj⁩ in the presence of other delegates.

Kenya’s CS Foreign Affairs also co-chaired a JMC with her counterpart that reviewed the status of Kenya- India bilateral relations.

Monica Juma stated that the main focus was based on the promotion of Kenya’s Big Four agenda through Indian investment in Kenya.

The two countries agreed on modalities of strengthening our cooperation at the regional and multilateral levels reaffirmed their commitment to take the relation to the next level.

Monica Juma also added that given the long historical,cultural,economic ties & shared experiences,India offers Kenya invaluable lessons to fast-track transformation.

The two countries will be working closely to ensure that together, they achieve the common goals.
