Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is relishing the challenge of stopping Paris Saint-Germain’s forward Kylian Mbappe when the two sides clash in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie tonight.

United’s injury-ravaged side will be looking to overturn a 2-0 loss from the first leg they suffered at Old Trafford.

Lindelof, who will be at the heart of the visitor’s defence, is wary of the threat posed by Mbappe at the Parc des Princes telling reporters: “I think everyone here knows his quality.

“He’s a world-class player. But I’m looking forward to the challenge.

“He’s a good player, [but] you just have to be alert and be ready for anything.”

The Red Devils will be without 10 first-team players for tonight’s clash but interim manager remains optimistic his charges can get a positive result in Paris.
