The March 9th handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his counterpart ODM Leader Raila Odinga was to simply bring peace and harmony among kenyans and finish the political divisions.
However, the former speaker of the national Assembly Fara Maalim has come out to give the pros and cons of the handshake.
While taking to his twitter account he wrote, ” Handshake has three deliverables
1) revalidation of political fortunes of Uhuru&Raila as a Prime Minister& ceremonial President respectively thru referendum/constitutional change
2) Remove DP Ruto from 2022 equation
3) Tame Somali community thru census,representation & economics. It is almost one year since the March 9, 2018 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga.”
