Kenyans on Tuesday woke up to news that Self-Proclaimed Mighty Prophet of the Lord David Owuor was embroiled in a property Tussle with a family over the control and occupancy of a Sh1.5 billion property in Westlands, Nairobi.

Owuor is accused of using dubious means to obtain Property belonging to
Jayne Muthoni.

The Man of God with the help of a number of Bishops from his Church is said to have duped Mrs. Jayne Muthoni into handing over the management and control of her properties to Lilly Njage, a staunch follower of Owuor.

Muthoni’s relatives have now alleged that their relative was not of sound mind when she authorised Njage to manage her property.

They claimed the woman had been brainwashed and placed under the influence of unidentified drugs that could have caused memory loss.

“We want my sister’s property taken back to her. They forced her to appoint a co-director so that they can take control of the company. They have stolen from her. There is one transaction which I saw and more than Sh700 million was withdrawn from her bank account,” Muthoni’s brother Duncan Njagi said yesterday.

In the midst of these grave allegations, Owuor’s followers under the hastag WhyShootTheGoodSamaritan have come out to viciously defend their spiritual leader of any wrong doing.

They have claimed that the media and a group of individuals are out to taint Prophet Owuor’s image.
