KFCB partners with Veteran comedian Churchill to boost Kenya’s creative economy

KFCB has partnered with Veteran comedian Churchill in the spirit of making the Nairobi Film Center the home of the creative economy in Kenya.

This comes after Ezekiel Mutua held a meeting with Churchill a couple weeks ago and discussed collaboration in promoting the creative industry in Kenya through their new facility; Nairobi Film Centre.

Mutua believes that this partnership will go a long way in providing the young and local talents with a platform and opportunities to showcase their talent as well as boosting the creative industry.

Earlier last week, Kenya Film Classification Board announced a major partnership with local creative artists who have been showing interest in the use of Nairobi Cinema which is the biggest theater in East and Central Africa.

Churchill on his end has taken up initiative to support and promote talent through his comedy show.

Churchill will be hosting his first show in the Nairobi Film Center on 8th March 2019 in a show dubbed ‘City Edition’
