Cancer warrior and UoN Student Emmanuel Otieno famously known as Jadudi, a patient who put up a brave fight against brain cancer is DEAD. Months after he underwent successful brain surgery to remove a cancerous growth in his brain, Jadudi, was diagnosed with another brain tumour.
Emmanuel Otieno, succumbed to brain cancer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital, Kisumu on the night of March 4, 2019.
Kenyans have taken to social media to condole the family and celebrate the young man who put up a brave fight and inspired many.
Kenyans were united by a simple hash tag, #1milliforJadudi. The story of Emmanuel Otieno, better known as Jadudi, touched hearts of many and the campaign ended up receiving donations of up to Ksh 6 million.
May he rest in peace.
