Musau also hit out at investigating agencies probing graft accusing them of fighting corruption in the media.

He accused the agencies of personalizing the war against corruption to target innocent individuals with the aim of frustrating their  political ambitions.

“While we support the renewed war against corruption, we urge the agencies involved to do their work independently and stop ‘crucifying’ innocent people in the media” Musau said.

Musau said the war against corruption will not be won through ‘headlines’.

On Sunday during a mass service at St Martin Kithwii Catholic church in Kangundo, Machakos county, Ruto continued his attack on people he said want to scuttle the war against graft.

Ruto claimed that some politicians are politicizing and personalizing the war against graft to stall it.

He also claimed that some political forces want to cause divisions in the ruling Jubilee Party.
