The man of the cloth who has been on the receiving end in the recent months after a West Pokot woman he allegedly brought back from the dead in 2017 ‘died again’, has been accused of stealing millions of cash and assets from a woman identified as Jane Muthoni Njagi who was a staunch member of the Repentance and Holiness Ministry.

In an interview, Ian Njagi Macharia, who introduced himself as Muthoni’s son, said they started getting suspicious when his mother, a real estate tycoon and senior advocate, failed to raise money to support funeral of her own mother, his grandmother.

“We asked ourselves, the rent that you are collecting, why can’t you foot the bill for your mum’s funeral? So that is what started making some family members suspicious,” Ian said moments after drama unfolded in Westlands, Nairobi, where the family members had gone to look for answers about their real estate.
