Kenyan Artist Avril has weighed in over the gospel and secular industry and what she thinks about the two categories of music.
Avril revealed that she can sing gospel music and she added that she has written a several gospel songs.
The Singer noted that it is not a sin to sing whatever genre of song. She also added that music is a language and good music deserves credit.
Avril mentioned that she has friends from both the industry and the categories have never been a hindrance for her to link up and relate well with other artist.
The Singer also believes that the gospel and the secular artists should be united and work together in order to boost the music industry.
Avril believes that not everyone who calls the name God will get a direct pass into heaven.
The Singer says that some might be gospel musicians yet their lifestyle and actions do not impress God.
Avril being a pastor’s daughter some people used to call her out for her songs but she is confident that her talent is blessed and God fights for her battles.
The Musician revealed that even her mother who is a pastor is her biggest fan and has been supportive to her music career.
